Transitions

Warm Kale Salad Recipe

Staying Grounded….

It is not uncommon in my personal and profession nutrition and yoga practices to find change disruptive. We are creatures of habit and these routines keep us centered.

I speak often in my sessions about scaffolding. I believe in a few key ingredients (no pun intended!)-think of beams-and when we cannot quite get the recipe right we feel off balance. My practice supports the rebuilding and restructuring of these supports. Sometimes we need to add layers, and other times we need take our routines down to the studs and rebuild.

I have highlighted a few points I believe create a rock solid foundation to allow for any transition

  • 3 meals a day with time ranges
  • Consistent Sleep Routine
  • Find movement in your life that enables you to be distracted from your “to do lit”
