My Thoughts on Sugar Substitutes….
Last month a study was published suggesting sugar substitutes, such as saccharin, may in fact increase our risk of obesity and diabetes by disrupting our body’s ability to control blood sugar. This is not the first study to support this; however, many professionals are still recommending its use over natural sugar. I personally always recommended natural or brown sugar in my practice.

Combine:
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup oatmeal with flaxseeds
1 1/2 sticks butter
